Chuck E. Cheese...here we come!

Axl was so close to filling his chart we decided to tell them when both charts were full we'd go to Chuck E. Cheese.  They have never been there and have no idea what we're talking about, but boy are they excited.  Ha. 

Things are going very well at home, except that Cooper has starting having #2 accidents.  She tells me about halfway through...lovely.  Axl has trouble when we're out.  Still using pull-ups for both when we're out of the house.  Pretty proud of my kiddos for the progress, though.  :) 

Cooper and Potty Training

Congratulations to Cooper Jay!  She has filled her first potty chart!  She really just loves adding stickers, but does anyone have an idea for a reward?  I think she needs something...maybe it will motivate brother to keep making strides as well.  :)

Days 2 and 3

So I'm pretty much not counting Sunday because we were gone all day and both kids had a pretty hard time.  As of today, I feel like Cooper is pretty much potty trained.  Today she woke up dry and had NO pee accidents, even with a car ride to Paris and back.  Axl is staying dry for MUCH longer periods of time in the day, but is still very reluctant and puts up a fight with the potty.  At one point he was crying, "I want my daddy" in the bathroom.  Not sure what Les (and probably the neighbors) thought I was doing to him in there...; not sure what I'm going to do with him.  Didn't get many stickers on the chart today because we spent the day with Leslie and then came back to Nicholasville for dinner with Daddy at Zaxby's, but many potty treats were earned.  :)   

Sunday Funny:  Cooper asked to go to the potty like three times during Sacrament and I ran her out every time only for stage fright.  After it was over I was chatting with someone and she told me rather urgently about the pee-pee.  I snatched her up and ran her to the bathroom, noticed her pull-up was wet, but sat her on the toilet and asked if she had any more pee-pee.  She replied, "No, we gotta clean up the floor." 

Potty Training Day 1

Well, here it is.  I think a success.  Though, I'm not going to lie; it was pure torture.  Axl had 3 accidents, Cooper had about 7 or 8.  Still no #2 success from either.  All of Cooper's success came after dinner, so I have high hopes for tomorrow.  Now, if she would just stop yelling at me from bed to go pee I'll be ok.  :)
