Naomi's 4 month stats

Naomi had her 4 month well baby today. 

Weight: 13 lb 5 oz = 95th %...I think they may have calculated this wrong
Height: 25 in = 75th %
HC 42.7 cm = 77th %

Poor girl had to get 4 shots!  Cooper was upset because she had just dropped her sucker accidentally in the trash.  I put her up on the table and asked her to help me with Yomi while she got her shots.  The nurse got out the needles and it was so precious how scared Cooper was for the baby.  You would have thought she was the one getting the shots with the anxiety pouring out of her!  She was a good helper, though, and rubbed her head.  She even asked the mom of the year where her yummy was...yes I forgot to give Naomi her pacifier while getting shot in the leg with huge needles four times.  Good thing she has a great mother in Coop.  :)

Naomi is 4 months old!

Our little Yomi Tinker is 4 months old!  Some notes this month...

• Fingers to mouth, out to grin, fingers to mouth, out to grin, repeat... :)
• Still 1 tooth, but slobbering, slobbering, slobbering...
• Found her voice a few days ago...love the little jibber jabbers...she talks mostly in the evening after the kids have gone to bed.  It's a fun time.  :)
• We have officially traded in the 0-3 month clothes for 3-6; all still fit except the length of the legs and arms.  Maybe she'll be tall.  :)
• I've kind of forgotten to document any schedule stuff with Naomi, but I'll write it down here in case I wonder about it later.  At this point she still is eating every three hours starting at 8 am and taking a nap after waketime between each of the feedings.  Her waketime is about 1.5-2 hours long.  She is not sleeping through the night; I usually feed her once, but the time she wakes up is not necessarily consistent, partially because most nights I'm too lazy to wake her for the 11pm dreamfeed so it depends on whether or not I do that.  Though, sometimes I don't and she still doesn't wake up until about 5:30 or 6!  We're getting there!
• She absolutely scared me to death with an episode she had this month while I was nursing her, but I don't want to write it all out right now.  And she is definitely A-OK :)

Naomi is 3 months old!

  

 This month's picture really reminded me of Cooper, so I went back and found Coop's 3 month picture.  WOW.  They sure are sisters.  :)

  

 

 

 

 

We found ourselves at the doctor this month for Naomi's 2 month check up.  

Weight 11 lb 2 oz = 50th percentile

Height 23" = 75th percentile

HC 41.4 = 92nd percentile!!

and then another trip to the doctor for all three with stomach viruses AND flu-type virus.  Also had them check on her persistent rash that I thought was yeast and he says "baby acne"...who knew there was such a thing?

 

 After her shots.  She was a SERIOUS trooper.  Cried for a couple seconds and then was COMPLETELY fine...just wanted to go to sleep.  :)

 

 

 

Naomi is 2 months old!

 

Once again, time has flown.  Naomi is certainly developing her personality and is so so sweet.  This month, she has developed a bit of reflux and now takes Zantac, but it is so mild compared to the others.  She just started having trouble lying down at night.  The Zantac has done the trick and she goes down easily again.  She still wakes 1-2 times in the night.  She has had a couple of teaser nights where she sleeps what I would consider all night, but it doesn't stick.  :)  The other kids are in love with her--possibly a little too much; I have to keep a close eye, but we are loving so much what she brings to our little family.
